Individual Coaching

Coaches operate in lots of different ways and it’s hard to know before speaking with someone if they will be the right fit for you. Here are the things that you can expect while working with me:

We will have a complimentary call. This usually lasts between 30-60 minutes. During this time we will talk about all of the things that bring you to coaching. I will do my best to explain how my methods might work for you and to answer any questions that you might have. We’ll also talk about what your expectations are for coaching and what my expectations are as a coach. If you decide to move forward with me you can sign up for a 12-session coaching package. Each session lasts for up to 60 minutes. I have many clients who receive full or partial reimbursement from their companies for my fee.

During our first session, we will outline what your goals are for our time together. We will work to identify short, mid, and long-term goals. We will work together to figure out why those things are important to you and how I can help you to stay accountable. 

At the beginning of every session, we will discuss the things that you have been working on. We will talk about what’s working and what isn’t. This will allow us to adjust and tailor tools that meet your specific needs, as well as your personality and work style. Coaching is a partnership. I will ask you during every session how you want to use our time together. 

Some tools that I regularly use with my individual clients:

  • Organizational Systems - I create and share a Google Drive folder with each of my clients. This folder includes detailed session notes, assessment results, and homework, as well as a session log.

  • Life and Workflow Planning - I can help clients develop an online plan that can be used to achieve goals both personally and professionally.

  • EQ-i Assessment - Emotional Intelligence is proven to be a key indicator of human performance and development. People higher in EI communicate effectively form strong relationships, and create powerful coping strategies. EI can be measured – more accessibly and less controversially than IQ – and unlike IQ, it can be substantially strengthened and developed. This assessment is the most powerful tool in creating lasting developmental changes quickly.

  • Character Strengths Assessment - Strength-based work is my favorite. This assessment will help you to better understand your individual makeup of 24 different character strengths. Your results will rank in order of the ones that are most to least easily accessible for you. We will use this information to understand and capitalize on the gifts that come most naturally to you and also develop the lesser strengths. This kind of work unlocks massive potential in people. 

  • Values Assessment - This will help you to identify your fundamental value system. Understanding your values can help you to figure out exactly why you’re doing things and give you a set of markers to use when making decisions.
